Charity
Cambodia is a very poor country and a lot of people live in the countryside without access to clean drinking water, schools, electricity, healthcare, etc. Therefore our company dedicates 10% of the tour price to a charity that helps poor villages in remote areas of the country. The charity is called Stichting Apsara and it's run by a Cambodian and Dutch team. We think that this colaboration is a very powerful one.
The charity helps families and children for example by providing clean drinking water (wells and water filters), supporting and schools and building public toilets to improve hygiene. Each dollar is well spend and goes directly to the projects in these areas. The charity works only with volunteers to make sure that all the money is spend in the right place.
